Since so many people have requested more information on how Jesus is portrayed in all of the Bible, I have included below a table that references most of the major images, types and themes of Jesus throughout the books of the Bible.  The information below has been compiled from a variety of different sources.  


I think it is a fitting way to end this series on the parable of the Prodigal by focusing our hearts and minds once again on the One who told this amazing story.  Remember, it is always all about Jesus! 


Jesus in all the books of the Bible...
The Bible is about Jesus. He is pictured or prophesied about in each of the 66 books as well as in countless types in the lives of different characters in the Bible. Below is a breakdown of the major ways He is pictured in each of the books of the Bible.
